I bought the adapter to eliminate the need to have 3 adapters for 2 phones and an Xtar VC8 battery charger on my desk, which also has QC3.0 support. After connecting to the USB-C slot with the purchased 100W / 5Gbit Alza cable without booting. The phone charges when powered from the USB-C port. Cable OK, charger or its UCB-C slots for very limited use - lottery if even the supported device will work.
The USB-A slots work and the battery charger starts up, but as a result it unnecessarily deprived the slot that I would have used otherwise and left the slot, which is useless to me, because the remaining devices are not on USB-C.

Ideal charger if you charge more than one thing from the socket. I personally glue it from the bottom of the table and I' m excited that charging is more convenient and “tidy“.
