I bought this mount as a replacement for the iOttie Easy One Touch Mini, which I was very happy with, but it broke after 4 years. I tested this by driving on vacation when the soft suction cup held well on the dashboard in the summer. The biggest problem was the phone spinning in the holder practically every sharp turn. I went to the trouble of making sure the metal pad was on the center of the phone. This keeps the attachment in the center of gravity and the phone rotates very easily. Slide the pad up to obstruct the camera. Moving the arc down will only make the situation worse. A holder for anger!

Holds well on glass

The mobile must be leaned against the dashboard, if the holder is on the glass, preferably also supported by a soft pad. Otherwise, he's wiggling. A cell phone in a silicone or rubber case also solves this. Also, after a while, the part between the suction cup and the body of the holder got out of alignment, so it rotates +- 1 cm, which, however, solves the leaning. I wouldn't put it on the dash at all, because there's some glue or something on the suction cup, and there's a risk of damaging the dash. On the other hand, it sticks well on the glass. It's a bit rubbish, but it gets the specific job done for the money🤷. I have it in two cars and I don't need to solve it any other way.

After less than a week, the wheel that is under the suction cup irreversibly damaged has fallen off the dashboard, so who wants to destroy the dashboard so this cheap junk is perfect for it 😉

This was really invented by an ing.! The adhesive base cannot be separated from the rubber suction cup, so one stick and the holder is in one place for good. The instructions say to take it off when not in use, reseal with masking tape and reuse later. I want to see how this Ing. ...or the floorboards. For someone who uses the holder every day and has the holder in one place all the time SUPER, but when you don't need the holder you throw it in the glove box and tidy up. I'm not gonna stare at an empty holder because it won't come off

I've had one for a year now and because of the very easy to addictive use, I'm buying two more for other cars and as gifts. This is invaluable especially for frequent drop-offs and pick-ups when I need to take the device with me.

The suction cup sticks like nailed, both on the glass and on the dashboard.

The magnet itself is strong enough for slightly larger and heavier phones (10" tablet can't hold). It holds up in both corners and worse terrain.

You can add your own stronger magnet to the holder without disassembly, which can then hold even heavier devices (even a 10" tablet) while driving

It can also hold heavier devices (including a 10" tablet) if the bottom of the device is resting on something (e.g. decking)
