The reduction works well when used with an ASUS laptop (Windows 11). I couldn't get it to work with M1 MacBook Pro (current Ventura) or Intel Mac mini (Mojave). On apple devices, the monitor just flashes slightly in the settings and disappears again - the system then cannot detect it and the monitor has no signal at the input.
Reasonable price.
Nice size.
It will put the old monitor to new use.
