I only use 4K + HDR at 60 Hz between PC (Windows 11, RTX 40XX) and Sony TV and it handles it perfectly.
I think 2.0a would be enough for this, so I wouldn't expect a problem here.
It's just really thicker and stiffer, but people have written that here before, so nothing new.

After connecting the PC to the TV and setting the resolution to 2160p (4K) with HDR10 enabled, the picture looks more like 720p, constant image dropout (black screen) and cannot set the frequency to more than 24Hz. I also tried with a shorter HDMI 2.1 cable and had none of the above problems.
