I don't know if I have the wrong piece, but my Android Auto is falling out with this cable. The mobile connects, Android Auto works for a minute, then there is probably some big error in the data transfer for a while, which protocol, parity, etc. can't handle it anymore, the phone disconnects and reconnects. With a much longer cable from another brand, there is no problem. Maybe there's a bad contact in the connector and it can't handle the vibration or the whole cable is designed wrong and there's maybe some crosstalk, a lot of attenuation, going on. I can't measure the parameters.
