I needed to upgrade my home network. I bought a new DSL modem, routers, and made sure everything had Gbit ports and that all the new cables and other components were at least CAT6 and supported Gbit transmission. As part of the upgrade, I needed to extend one of the existing CAT6 cables, so I bought this as well. And then I spent two days trying to figure out why one of my routers was suddenly only getting 100 Mbit/s, until on the third day I found the culprit: this product.
Hopefully it's just a faulty unit, but I'm not happy.
