For indicative measurements "good" - "weak" - "bad" absolutely sufficient. It needs one AAA battery for its operation, but again you don't bother with the switch (you don't forget to turn it off). Quality workmanship, for me great satisfaction.

I'm disappointed, I was really looking forward to the product and it's miserable. The only proper way to test batteries to determine their condition is with a load connected. This tester does not do that see photo - the battery has the same voltage inside and outside the tester. If you have a multimeter at home, you will not get anything extra by buying the meter. Moreover, even as a simple voltmeter it evaluates quite poorly. A 1.5V AAA battery that has a voltage of 1.0 without load (i.e. totally dead) is considered weaker. On the other hand, a 3V button cell battery from a car key is considered excellent, although the key will not unlock the car.
