I've already claimed the cable once, with the second time I found out that it works fine if you unplug it after charging (ideally with the mains charger as well, though). I tried, but it wasn't the charger. A similar model of Alza cable I have, without ALU core, does not need this and can be plugged in all the time and nothing will happen.
Nice processing
If you keep it in the charger for a long time, it stops charging
