One thing to watch out for: If you want to center a hanging monitor (like a primary, sideways laptop), you need to be able to mount the mount on the left or right side of the desk (for me, the stand on one side and the back plate behind the drawers on the other were a problem), so there wasn't enough room on the desk. The center mount at the back of the desk top means you have to tilt the monitor towards you, back behind the desk the monitor width will extend into the arm.
Despite the statement of the right holder I can safely recommend. Still better than drilling four holes in a prefab for a VESA wall mount.
I definitely do not recommend a monitor larger than 24" and heavier than 4 kg. In about two positions, even the twenty-four slowly but surely "wilted".
I didn't understand the cable routing at the top of the arm. Since the connectors on the monitor are usually at the bottom, the cabling will only go through the bottom part under the plastic cover anyway.
what do I know it's a piece of metal and plastic, it works and for the price I can only recommend it
the design tends to wobble when playing - the whole monitor wobbles which is quite distracting - it could be a bit more solid but for the price it's forgivable
The manual is completely without description, so e.g. not recognizing that the setting on page 9 is the lifting stiffness (necessary for a heavier monitor, without which it won't stay up) and not the rotation stiffness
