It's the whitest white I've ever seen on ordinary office paper. CIE 170 will be no fun.

Finally, paper that the fountain pen won't leak through.
Perhaps unnecessarily sophisticated cardboard packaging that increases the price.

I bought all 3 variants of Alza paper - basic, professional, business for comparison. This professional is really the nicest. It doesn' t stand out that much in the photos, but it' s really significantly whiter than business/basic. It' s also pretty smooth - the business one has a slight texture to it by comparison.
