I am disappointed with the quality of the press. It cannot be compared with the original toner. Everything is faded, white lines remain. They probably take this toner from the original cartridges where they just drill a hole to fill the toner, while they do not rebuild the light-sensitive cylinder, so you do not know how many pages the cylinder has run. I don't dare to buy another same toner to compare if it was just a mistake of one piece.

the print is much paler than with the original toner even with the best print setting

A worthy replacement for the original from HP. It prints well, I personally don't see any difference in the output. The printer, when switched on, reported a non-original cartridge is inserted, but it works fine with it.
I would fault the lack of information on how to recycle an old catridge. Here HP has a sophisticated system (I've used it several times), Alza could put some information either on the box or on an inserted leaflet. So the info is only on the web.
