I was looking for a replacement for my old alarm clock with projection from the 90's from the then popular Quelle or Neckermann (I'm not sure anymore), which has unfortunately already expired: )
I'm surprised that the industry hasn't moved anywhere in that time, quite the opposite. My alarm clock at the time could change the colour of the projection and rotate the projection 360°. For this alarm clock, the projection colour is red only. Two levels of luminous intensity can be set. I use the weaker one and find it fully sufficient. The projector can only be rotated up and down, as can be seen in the picture. Unfortunately, it can't go sideways. The projected time can be reversed. There's no focus setting on the projection, but the projected image is good, so maybe it's somehow self-focusing or I don't know. I don't just project the numbers on the wall, it's like an overall rectangle. My old alarm clock used to project like this when the projector was starting to die. I hope I don't have a defective piece. If it's supposed to be that way on purpose, it doesn't strike me as a happy choice. A battery can be inserted in the alarm clock in case of a power failure. However, the alarm only keeps the remembered time, so you don't have to start from scratch when the power comes back on. However, if it is not powered from the socket, it shows nothing at such a moment. As I wrote at the beginning, today's alarm clocks are worse than those 25 years old and all offer essentially the same thing. So I chose this one mainly because of the nice design. The display has 5 brightness levels, or. can be switched off completely, so you can leave only the projection on the wall on, or turn it off completely during the day if you don't need it for anything else. The alarm clock offers the possibility to set two alarm times. I consider it a big minus that the adapter is not included in the package. It's hard to say whether this is a manufacturer's decision, or whether it's another environmental salvation of the world from our beloved EU. I personally have a USB-enabled lamp on my bedside table, so I power my alarm via that. The power cable is on the left side and is not aesthetically pleasing. Despite the negatives listed, I like the alarm clock overall and am happy with it.

There is a fundamental error in the description: The alarm can't run on battery power alone - the small CR2032 battery is only there to maintain the configuration when power is lost. So you don't wake up when the power goes out.
When the alarm rings, all buttons work except one to turn the alarm off completely. Just one of them will advance the alarm by the set time. But all the buttons are the same to the touch and positioned the same, so it's easy to turn the alarm off completely instead of delaying it for x minutes.
For some reason the alarm buzzes/buzzes after the alarm - like the speaker didn't turn off or something. At night, it can be quite disturbing. After disconnecting and reconnecting, it is silent again.
With the alarm you can choose between sound, vibration or both, but the vibration didn't work at all.
The power cord plugs in from the side, so it is always visible and cannot be hidden.
