I’m absolutely thrilled and can’t praise them highly enough. I go to metal concerts very often, where I usually stand right in front of the speakers, and I’ve started to find it a bit of a nuisance that the music can sometimes be a bit ‘tiring’ – because it’s so loud, and at times shrill, and so on. I keep my earplugs hanging round my neck on the string provided and put them in as and when I need to (for example, for a single song, or just for part of a concert, the support act, and so on), so I don’t feel quite so ‘tired’. I was worried they’d distort the sound, but it’s actually the opposite – I can hear the vocals a bit better; the earbuds ‘cut down’ the overdriven guitars, for example, and the overall sound level is still loud, but pleasant. The sound is clear and rich. It’s happened to me a few times that I’ve forgotten I had them. They’re very easy to put on, are soft and comfortable, are easy to wash and retain their shape well. I use the ‘weakest’ filter and the noise reduction is more than enough – depending on how far into my ear I insert them, they reduce noise very gently or, conversely, much more significantly. The case provided is just compact enough to fit in your pocket when you go to a gig, but still spacious enough to hold all the filters, earplugs and the cord. Absolutely brilliant – I’d recommend them to anyone who’s still listening.

They really do provide excellent noise reduction – I wear them at metal concerts in the front rows and put them on as and when I need to. They help tone down guitars that can sometimes be a bit too loud, and they’re easy to take off and hang round your neck
They don’t affect the quality of the music – on the contrary, it seems to me that I can hear the vocals a bit better, as they tone down the screeching of the guitars a little, but the overall sound is clear and consistent
For the average listener, Musicsafe (not for) or PartyPlug might be a better or sufficient choice – it’s purely a matter of taste and budget; these are excellent, but perhaps the ‘simpler’ ones would be enough for you

Sound-wise, it's the same as any regular earplugs, so it has no benefit for concerts. Only the bass component of the sound remains, the back and guitars are barely audible. Even the weakest 16dB filter attenuates too much.
I enjoyed the concert more with classic earbuds broken in half and placed just slightly on the edge of the ear canal: -)
They pushed quite a lot, but that is of course individual.

The ones that are needed (silver or gold) distort the sound, but you can get used to it. They work well - no whistling in the ears after a loud concert. The white ones are almost useless, or in my opinion if the concert is not too loud and not long, the earbuds are not needed. The earbuds have to be handled carefully, otherwise they can tear and unfortunately the string broke almost immediately.
