Overall, it gives the sink a uniform patina.
It doesn't repel water that much, it's just as effective as when I use a nano sponge. I expected the same effect as when the sink was new, i.e. no water droplets at all.
The instructions don't say anything about polishing after it hardens, but it seems to be necessary.
