AKASA Connect 7

A miniature, powered USB hub that allows you to connect additional peripherals to your device. It's the perfect way for you to have your peripherals ready go; just plug in the hub to your laptop, and everything works instantly. The advantage of this model is the external power source, making it suitable for 2.5" external drives and other demanding devices that are powered directly from the USB port. It also boasts LED back-lighting on the ports that indicate power and data access on each of the seven ports. Hub handles USB 2.0 but is backwards-compatible with older USB 1.1.
