Nice and well built piece. No " plastic". Unfortunately, the microphone during calls is dusty. In order for the caller on the other end to hear you really have to shout a lot and even then it' s not a miracle. Otherwise BT pairing ok. Playback and quality is equivalent to an fm transmitter. Probably the best transmitter I've ever had in a car. Absolutely no noise and the sound is not bad at all either. My only complaint is that it doesn't hold up very well in the socket (probably no problem for a VW concern-smaller diameter) and is a bit taller than I expected. Compared to other trasnmitters with frequency change controls, it looks like a charger and makes a nice impression.
