As it blows sideways, it can be placed on the edge of, say, a cupboard and thus blows the mist into the space, so it dissolves better. Unlike the devices that blow on top of each other.

I have a second humidifier because the first one stopped making steam after a few months. Resolved by complaint and purchase of a new identical humidifier. I am happy with it only the buttons could be better. They don't respond very well. Sometimes I have to touch it 5 times to get it to respond. With the first device I thought it was a defect and I was going to claim it, but by the time I got to it it stopped working. The other one is doing the same with the buttons, but so far at least it works so I'll see: )

For a long time I have been looking for an affordable humidifier that really humidifies the air significantly and not by 1-2%. This box can do it, the stream of steam can spew a lot, which is also quite a nice spectacle: ) It also lies to drip essential oils into a special compartment, which will scent the air, although you will use more of it because you shouldn't drip it directly into the water but onto a special paper foam or whatever you want to call it, which will get less of it into the air.
