A huge disappointment, despite all the care and preparation. The seeds were sown in high-quality turf substrate and the area was thoroughly watered every evening. I deliberately sowed the mixture more densely, but even so, no more than 50 to 60 per cent of the seeds germinated. The result is unsightly patches – in some places the grass is lovely and thick, but right next to it there are just a few blades of grass or completely bare earth. Given the effort involved and the time saved, I would have expected the Agro grass seed mix to deliver incomparably better and more consistent germination. I don't recommend it.
