We’ve had the dishwasher at home for about two weeks. It is very easy to use. It’s also very spacious – it can even hold larger pots, pans, glasses, … We used to put absolutely everything in it to wash, including plates with dried-on food, and it coped brilliantly with everything. We didn’t find a single spot that hadn’t been cleaned. So we’re thrilled.
When the dishwasher finishes, the door opens automatically and the crockery is left to dry naturally.
It is too early to assess water consumption after such a short period. But we’re very happy with our purchase.

The dishwasher is completely silent. An ECO mode is available for maximum savings. Combined with a delayed start and running at night, it works out almost for free. Inside the dishwasher there is an adjustable basket, so you can either just toss your cutlery in together or separate them out individually to ensure they are washed perfectly. The basket also includes a rubber protector for washing glasses.
Although I was worried about the assembly, it’s absolutely hassle-free (provided you have a TORX screwdriver).
Height adjustment and levelling are provided by the screw-in feet at the front, together with the front mounting nut, which is used to adjust the rear foot. There is only one leg at the back, but with a built-in dishwasher, stability is ensured by the kitchen units.

The dishwasher does a brilliant job of washing up; it can even cope with really greasy dishes, including roasting tins used for pork belly. It’s very spacious, and the way the crockery – particularly glasses – is held in place is well thought out, so nothing gets knocked about, even when the dishwasher isn’t completely full. The top basket is very easy to adjust, and I like the fact that I can use just half the basket for cutlery when there isn’t much of it. It’s very easy to use, and there are plenty of programmes. What I particularly appreciate is that the crockery comes out dry, so we don’t have to leave it to dry or polish it with a tea towel. I recommend

We’ve been using the AEG 7000 GI7200A1SN dishwasher for a couple of weeks now, and we’re generally satisfied with it. It washes really well, it’s very quiet, and I appreciate the fact that the door opens automatically once the programme has finished.
The mobile app is also a big plus. The installation and connection to the dishwasher went smoothly, and it’s easy to use. But the app isn’t quite right in the sense that it thinks a dishwasher is a washing machine and uses the word ‘washes’ instead of ‘cleans’. But it’s a minor shortcoming – and, unfortunately, it’s not the only one.
Another disappointment was that the product photos show the dishwasher with a white front panel, but it actually arrives without one (yes, it’s a built-in model, but there was hardly any mention of the panel anywhere, and the product photos showed it). And as I was looking, it turns out there aren’t any spare doors available.
Another drawback is that the dishwasher doesn’t have a display – apart from the one where I select the programme – that would show how much time is left. Yes, there’s a light shining on the floor, but it doesn’t show the time, and without the app I have no way of knowing how much longer it will be washing for.
