I did a simple test - copying 4 GB of video to a flash drive and then copying it back to the laptop. When writing to the flash the first 3 seconds or so the speed was higher, but then it dropped and stayed around 7-12 MB/s, which is a speed worthy of cheap flash drives from 5-10 years ago. For reading (copying from flash drive to computer) the speed was around 130 MB/s, which was a pleasant surprise.
