The right hinge is only " joined" once (perhaps there is a deeper reason for this, but it doesn' t allay concerns about build quality)

Even though the plastic is such a very solid construction, it doesn' t bend like other plastic notebooks when you take it in your hand
when browsing the web and dimming the brightness to 50%, the battery lasts a really long time, 8 to 10 hours. with more demanding work and full brightness, it lasts for over 5 hours without a problem
the backlight of the keyboard is pleasant, not too bright, just right
the overall matte design of the chassis leaves no fingerprints anywhere
noisier fan at higher load and if there is complete silence around you it can be a little distracting, I' ve had several laptops and most were quieter, but I' ve also had noisier ones
