I bought the laptop half as a desktop replacement and half as a portable device, if you connect a monitor with speakers, keyboard and mouse to it at home, you will be extremely satisfied, as a desktop replacement it is great if you supply it with other audio peripherals. The weight and size are great for travel, but the speakers aren' t worth much. If quality sound is a priority for someone, look elsewhere.
