Lots of music for little money. I'm happy with it so far. Quiet for office work. When gaming, the fan runs full blast. But the headphones make sure of it. Output air (at full power) is approx. 65-70 °C. Only it blows on the display (bottom middle), so hopefully it will last.
During the first month of use, the lock holding the "J" key ready to the keyboard broke off (see. photo). So I claimed the laptop and Alza sent the laptop to the official Acer service center, who told me that it was due to mishandling and that they could only treat it as a paid repair. They want a little over 2000 crowns for a small plastic part that holds one key, because they want to replace the whole keyboard senselessly. These plastic parts are made of incredibly soft and thin plastic compared to others on other laptops I've used, which really doesn't hold up to almost anything. So I have a laptop that I can't use properly without paying another 2000+ CZK. Not really Acer anymore.

Very good processor, good display considering the price, comparably expensive laptops often have TN, this one has IPS with good color rendering and does not flicker. OS installation without problems, RAM sufficient and expandable. Decent battery life, although you could certainly put a bigger piece in. SSD fast, just a shame there's only one slot. The keyboard is very good, the touchpad has a nice response, the fingerprint reader works as it should. The sound is surprisingly good, I expected worse. Wifi has decent sensitivity and speeds are very good. USB4 is only one (the processor offers 2), but with a decent docking station it is possible. Weight is very good, chassis strength seems to be sufficient so far, we will see in time.
An excellent multimedia laptop that has the biggest plus of the Ryzen 8840HS. This processor has awesome performance (approx. Intel 13500H performance), but unlike Intel, where weak int. graphics here is a very good 780M. The base is 16GB ram and 512GB SSD which is currently sufficient. The notebook is compact with a metal lid and basic ports - 2xUSB-A; HDMI 2.1; USB-C (but no network port). What I praise a lot is USB4, which allows image data transfer and especially charging. So it's no problem to take a GaN 65W USB-C charger instead of a proprietary power supply and charge with it.
The display is an IPS FHD display with 300nity, which is definitely better than some ntb's with a TN panel. As a nice feature, I rate the reliable and well-placed fingerprint reader on the touchpad. For me it works well, reliably and is located in the best possible place. The AcerSence software is good for me, it doesn't include as many settings options as Lenovo Vantage, but it allows you to check HW, limit charging to 80% or check for updates.
Not to just praise there are some negatives. The cons I list are generally related to cheaper laptops and also to the fact that the product is lower in price. The performance needs to be cooled down and the SSD can be replaced, OS installed if necessary. So I consider the biggest minus is only 1 expansion slot with 8GB DDR5 SODIMM the second memory 8GB is fixed on the motherboard (max will be possible to expand from 8 to 16, so a total of 24GB. Ideal would be 2 slots and the ability to expand to 2x16GB which won't work here.
Acer is a manufacturer that sucks at decent design. It is not a problem to get inside the notebook and it is a matter of a moment to replace the memory or disk. The installation of WIN 11 is relatively trouble-free.
It is a great work and multimedia laptop. It handles web browsing, office, watching movies and some games perfectly.
I commend Acer for betting on AMD's Ryzen 8840HS processor this time around with the excellent Zen4 architecture, but also good int. graphics. The price tag with respect to performance is favorable and I rate it 100%. I recommend it!
Ryzen 8840HS performance is awesome
Relatively lightweight and compact multimedia notebook
At FHD, it can handle games (int. graphics 780M is great)
IPS FHD display with 300nity in a decent price range
2xUSB-A; HDMI 2.1; USB-C enables data transfer, charging and image transfer
It has a reliable well-placed fingerprint reader on the touchpad
The manufacturer's AcerSence software is good and allows updates and basic settings including limiting charging to 80%
It handles work, multimedia and some games perfectly
Currently the most powerful laptop in the category
good price-performance ratio
the biggest minus is only 1 expansion slot with 8GB DDR5 SODIMM (max will be possible to expand from 8 to 16, so a total of 24GB
In the base 512GB SSD and does not have an additional slot
If you want high performance, the laptop will be noisier and the left side of the keyboard is noticeably warmer
It doesn't have an OS, but installing Win 11 is not problematic with Acer
