I bought this type of lamp because I want it to last longer than with an integrated LED. However, depending on the quality of the construction, it is possible that the bulb itself will last longer than the rest of the lamp. Anyway, I'm happy for the money. The lamp shade can be rotated up and down within the design limitations and also to the right by 90 degrees.
