I bought this balm to soothe a small patch of eczema on my lower left eyelid. Unfortunately, it made my condition significantly worse. Immediately after applying it, the cream stung badly. My lower eyelid turned red and swelled up within minutes. After using it for several days, the eczema started to spread further and a new patch appeared on the upper eyelid of my other eye. I tried applying the product on its own and also in combination with my trusted oat gel, but the reaction was the same in both cases. In the end, the situation required a visit to a dermatologist, who recommended I stop using the balm and prescribed a corticoid ointment to calm the inflammation. Although the product is advertised as care for atopic and sensitive skin around the eye area, it significantly complicated my eczema and, from my own experience, I cannot recommend it if you tend to get eczema on your eyelids.
