I'm upgrading the TV to all three generations at home, so 3 pieces, each with a completely different style of use, so far it looks like a successful upgrade.
For the money, it will play a 4K movie with DTS sound without any flies.
Optical output for external audio, so I don't have to upgrade my 5+1 amp yet, which is an order of magnitude better sound.
I'd rather switch to a steaming server, DLNA, because the external drive sometimes goes to sleep for a very long time after the TV is turned off, as if the TV is scanning it, forcibly disconnecting it could destroy the drive.

Also a big plus is the ability to browse the internet.
