Overall, a successful RGB TV with a nice picture, which however requires some fine-tuning to look realistic. For me, only the Filmmaker mode + individual adjustment of other parameters is usable, because otherwise, straight out of the box with factory settings, it is unfortunately unwatchable. I wanted a TV with a local dimming zone function, but in the end, I had to turn this feature off (at least it's possible to do so) because I find it distracting. Maybe there aren't enough zones (meaning the dimming areas are too large), so that's why. I don't know. After the final setup, however, everything is fine, and it's especially worth appreciating that the TV doesn't burn your eyes in the dark, because even with low backlighting (automatic setting via light sensor), the picture is still sufficiently contrasty and the colours are rich. The VIDAA operating system is pleasant, fast, easy to use, and there are plenty of streaming apps too (all the common ones are already pre-installed). The remote control has an interesting design with a solar panel and a USB-C input for recharging, but ergonomically it takes some getting used to. A button backlighting function would be nice if it reacted automatically to the movement of the remote itself. In practice, however, you have to press "something" in the dark to activate the backlight for a few seconds, only for it to go out again.
A truly matte, anti-reflective panel
Doesn't burn your eyes (once adjusted)
Snappy VIDAA system
Backlit remote control rechargeable via solar panel or USB-C input (= no batteries)
Native (factory) picture settings after the first startup
The local dimming zone function can be distracting
Controller ergonomics
To activate the backlight on the remote, you first have to press any button, and even then, the backlight only stays active for about 4 seconds (unless you press something else).
