Picture when watching TV - excellent in HD resolution. At a lower classic resolution, subjectively the details are slightly worse than previous plasma TVs from competitors. But it is probably also a matter of getting used to a different type of panel. Colours and brightness fine, black is really great. we were a little worried about that, and it's fine.
The picture in game mode - absolutely excellent and exceeded expectations - played on PS5 Pro, frequency 120Hz. Colours, brightness and rendering are great, even at higher frame rates - I really recommend it for gaming, it's a treat!
The sound - absolutely great, it's second to none. For a TV speaker, it's admirable. Fortunately, we refrained from buying a soundbar and we did the right thing. In a normal sized living room, the sound is perfectly adequate, clear and full of sonic detail.
Design - clean and really modern. Every newcomer immediately noticed the change without us drawing attention to the new TV. The thin profile feels light on the wall. It doesn't compare to the massive profile of the previous plasma TV.
Driver - looks cool, smaller size is nice.
Overall Impression - We chose LG for the first time based on reviews and quality test results and we definitely didn't make a mistake. We also hope that the panel is a bit timeless and that its capacity will last for a year and go with the times. The price is a little higher, but it makes up for the experience, especially when gaming and watching high-definition video. In addition, the lower power consumption is also noticeable, because the previous plasma was a bit of a heating element.
Controller - missing program number buttons and instant MUTE. Confirming OK via the scroll wheel is a bit impractical. A classic OK button placed separately would be better. The ISP buttons might not be, or at least not to that extent, but that's probably the principle of the age. Perhaps it would be more practical to have shortcut buttons on the controller with the possibility to assign your own service to them according to your needs.

The image is fantastic and has beautiful colors
The impression of watching the film is like in the cinema, the sound is just perfect
The anti-flaking elements are great. On my old TV I had to close the blinds during the day because of the sun and now I don't have to. Good visibility, day or night.
Eye protection and blue light dimming are also great
TV setup and menus are simple and intuitive
Gaming on PS5 is absolutely amazing. TV gives it a whole different dimension and I enjoy it more. In dark scenes you can see all the details.
The design of the TV is nice, it is thin and fits nicely into the interior of the apartment
Cable layout on the back of the TV
It's a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it. The picture and sound quality are proof of that
The controller lacks a mute button and would like a better design

LG OLED55G4 is a really hilarious piece. The picture is beautifully sharp, the colours are natural and the blacks are truly black - you can see the difference the first time you turn it on. The menu is clear, applications run briskly. I appreciate the slim design that fits nicely into the living room. Perfect choice. Yes, the price is higher, but the quality is worth it.

After years of using the LG OLED55E9PLA TV, I decided to get a new TV - again LG brand, because I have been very satisfied with LG TV for a long time. My original LG OLED55E9PLA has served excellently for years, had, and still has, an excellent picture and a pleasant user experience. The reason for the change was, among other things, the fact that the TV is in a very bright west-facing room in our apartment, and because the LG OLED55E9PLA screen has a glossy surface, light glare is visible on it, making it significantly uncomfortable to watch, so I opted for the LG OLED55G54 with anti-glare image. I was curious to see to what extent screen glare would be eliminated - and I find that the anti-glare screen surface is effective, screen glare has diminished in intensity and watching shows is already a much more pleasant experience for me even on a sunny day. The picture is, as is standard with LG TVs, quite exclusive. The sound quality, AI functionality and processing quality are also excellent. The LG OLED55G54 TV is undoubtedly a premium product.

My experience with LG OLED55G54 - in my opinion the best TV under 60 000 CZK For a long time I was looking for a TV that would fulfill everything I want from it as a demanding user - perfect picture, gaming performance, good sound, modern look and quality smart features. In the end, I chose the LG OLED55G54 and in retrospect I can say that I did absolutely the right thing. Image: The picture is without exaggeration fantastic. Thanks to the OLED evo panel with MLA technology, it's completely black, with excellent contrast and colours exactly as the director intended. Movies, TV shows and games look great. In dark scenes, detail is still visible, and in light scenes everything is natural, no overexposure. Sound: What surprised me a lot is the sound - the TV has 66W speakers and even though I have a home theater at home, I have to say that the built-in speakers sound great. Whether I was watching a movie, playing a game, or just listening to music, the sound had dynamics, depth, and clarity. If someone doesn't want to deal with external audio, this is a superior solution and in my opinion the best sound I've ever heard from a built-in TV. Playing: I mainly use it for PS5 gaming as well. It handles 4K at 120Hz, has HDMI 2.1, VRR, G-Sync, FreeSync - everything you need if you're playing on a console or PC. The response time is lightning fast and the picture is absolutely smooth. In fast FPS games, this is really noticeable. It can handle more hz, but ps5 model 1 can only handle 120hz. Design: The design is beautiful. The TV is thin, it sits on the wall with no gap at all and looks more like a picture than a TV. It looks luxurious in the living room and many people who came up to me immediately asked what model it was. It's just a piece of technology that also looks like a design accessory. Functions and connections: Plugging it in and setting it up was a matter of minutes. Mobile app connectivity, voice control, AirPlay, smart home - everything works instantly and seamlessly. The user interface is clear and simple. That's a big plus for me, too. What bothers me on the other hand - Ads on the home screen - for such an expensive TV I would expect there to be nothing like that. It spoils the impression of an otherwise clean system. - Controller - functionally it's fine (virtual mouse, precise movement), but design-wise it's like from 2010. For a TV this nice, it deserves a new generation remote. Conclusion and recommendations: The same day I got the TV, I had a chance to compare it at home with other 2025 models, and I have to say that none of the others (and they weren't cheap models) were up to par - be it in picture, sound, design or features. I would recommend this TV to anyone who is looking for something that will serve them for at least 5-6 years, without having to change or buy anything. Every day makes me happy - whether I'm playing, watching a movie or just relaxing. My eyes really thank me. There's nothing better at this price. You can see from the photos how I tested it.
High-end OLED evo panel with MLA technology - perfect black, high brightness, accurate colours
Support 4K at 120Hz, HDMI 2.1, VRR, G-Sync, FreeSync - ideal for PS5 and PC gaming
The built-in 66W speakers sound excellent - the sound is spacious, clear, with strong bass. Perfectly sufficient for casual viewing, music and gaming without the need for an external sound system. In my opinion, the best sound among TVs in this class.
Luxury design - ultra-thin design, TV sits directly on the wall without a gap (Gallery Design), looks elegant and unobtrusive at the same time. It looks like a part of the interior, not just like electronics alis TV, but like a picture on the wall: )
High stability of webOS - clear and seamless environment
Long-term investment - ideal TV for 5-6 years without the need for further replacement
The picture quality is absolutely superb - the OLED evo panel with MLA technology provides extreme contrast, deep blacks, realistic colours and high brightness. Movies, TV shows and games in 4K HDR/Dolby Vision look stunning in the daytime, even when viewed in complete darkness.
Excellent integration with smart home - easy mobile control, voice commands, automatic connection to home cinema via eARC.
At this price level, it has no competition - I tested other 2025 models at home, and none of them matched the LG OLED55G54 (in picture, sound, features or appearance).
Lots of hdmi, usb and a handy "cabel mamagment" to mount behind the TV
If you only watch regular TV (DVB-T2/satellite), you won't get the full potential of the panel - the real difference can be seen when watching HDR/Dolby Vision quality content from streaming platforms.
Ads on the home screen - for a TV in this class, I was honestly disappointed that the system displays recommended (ad) content right on the home page. I understand that it's a trend, but for a premium product I would expect the ability to turn these elements off. This is distracting and unnecessarily spoils the overall impression of an otherwise clean and elegant interface.
The design of the remote looks outdated - functionally the Magic Remote is excellent (precise control, cursor, gestures), but visually and materially it looks like it belongs to a completely different, older TV. It just doesn't fit the modern and thin OLED panel. All it would take is a redesign of the look, and the overall impression would be a level higher.
This is not a minus (recommendation): The TV deserves careful handling when mounting - the extremely thin design makes wall mounting a little more challenging. I recommend doing it with at least two people and with caution - the OLED panel itself is really thin and it is not advisable to take any risks.

Wonderful design
Very thin
Wall bracket included
Beautiful image, sharp, beautiful colors
Good sound. I considered buying a Soundbar, in the end I'm glad I didn't. For a 4x4m room it is sufficient.
Easy to set up after the 1st time you turn it on, the wizard guides you clearly and without any problem.
A simple, design beautiful smart controller, the scroll wheel is great for controlling the cursor movement and the thing, I very quickly learned to use it.
I was a little concerned that after years of using Samsung TVs I was switching to LG TVs mainly because of the USB recording capability. But my fears were completely unnecessary. This TV exceeded my expectations, especially with its beautiful picture and ease of use. I am very satisfied.
I miss the instant mute button on the remote, but it's nothing major.
Maybe too many buttons to launch some apps directly.
