My experience with LG OLED55G54 - in my opinion the best TV under 60 000 CZK For a long time I was looking for a TV that would fulfill everything I want from it as a demanding user - perfect picture, gaming performance, good sound, modern look and quality smart features. In the end, I chose the LG OLED55G54 and in retrospect I can say that I did absolutely the right thing. Image:
The picture is without exaggeration fantastic. Thanks to the OLED evo panel with MLA technology, it's completely black, with excellent contrast and colours exactly as the director intended. Movies, TV shows and games look great. In dark scenes, detail is still visible, and in light scenes everything is natural, no overexposure. Sound:
What surprised me a lot is the sound - the TV has 66W speakers and even though I have a home theater at home, I have to say that the built-in speakers sound great. Whether I was watching a movie, playing a game, or just listening to music, the sound had dynamics, depth, and clarity. If someone doesn't want to deal with external audio, this is a superior solution and in my opinion the best sound I've ever heard from a built-in TV.
Playing:
I mainly use it for PS5 gaming as well. It handles 4K at 120Hz, has HDMI 2.1, VRR, G-Sync, FreeSync - everything you need if you're playing on a console or PC. The response time is lightning fast and the picture is absolutely smooth. In fast FPS games, this is really noticeable. It can handle more hz, but ps5 model 1 can only handle 120hz. Design:
The design is beautiful. The TV is thin, it sits on the wall with no gap at all and looks more like a picture than a TV. It looks luxurious in the living room and many people who came up to me immediately asked what model it was. It's just a piece of technology that also looks like a design accessory. Functions and connections:
Plugging it in and setting it up was a matter of minutes. Mobile app connectivity, voice control, AirPlay, smart home - everything works instantly and seamlessly. The user interface is clear and simple. That's a big plus for me, too. What bothers me on the other hand - Ads on the home screen - for such an expensive TV I would expect there to be nothing like that. It spoils the impression of an otherwise clean system. - Controller - functionally it's fine (virtual mouse, precise movement), but design-wise it's like from 2010. For a TV this nice, it deserves a new generation remote. Conclusion and recommendations:
The same day I got the TV, I had a chance to compare it at home with other 2025 models, and I have to say that none of the others (and they weren't cheap models) were up to par - be it in picture, sound, design or features.
I would recommend this TV to anyone who is looking for something that will serve them for at least 5-6 years, without having to change or buy anything. Every day makes me happy - whether I'm playing, watching a movie or just relaxing. My eyes really thank me. There's nothing better at this price.
You can see from the photos how I tested it.
