At first, I was annoyed because my monitor didn't work via usb-c, plus I felt like Power Delivery wasn't working. In the end, it turned out to be the cable. The connection between the monitor and the macBook must be a dedicated usb-c cable, not the original apple cable that came with the macBook. (I don't get it).
I'm happier now. I have a complaint about the controls and the ergonomics. Ergonomics need to be addressed with pads under the extension. I guess control is a matter of habit. It annoys me that it's very confusing to confuse the buttons and instead of moving around the settings, I press the power button and the monitor immediately shuts off. I already went to return the monitor, but using a better usb-c cable solved my problems. Power Delivery finally works and the resolution is indeed those of 4K. After some tweaking, I managed to tweak the colors so that they are (to my eye) the same as I have on my macbook.
That's why I'm keeping the monitor for now and if nothing shows up in the next few days, I'll keep it permanently: -)
