So I don't know, I trusted HP and the first impression was excellent - contrast, colours (after a bit of adjusting), response, 165Hz, just great. Disappointment came with the first darker game - the bottom left corner had extreme backlight bleed accompanied by ISP glow (dark things look like pearlescent). Probably some manufacturing defect, because if I sat "off axis" to the left directly against the part in question, the negative effects almost disappeared.
I tried to "get over it", but the bottom left corner just gave me a headache, so I returned the monitor. Škoda.
