I searched for a week for a monitor to buy, searched Google, Reddit, until I finally swayed and bought this one and I don't regret it. Compared to my old Benq Mobiuz Ex2710, which is just FullHD IPS an incredible shift, finally I don't have "fog"(IPS Glow) in games. I was worried about the brightness in SDR, despite the lower stated value than the old monitor, I find it brighter. As for the poorer text readability, which has been written about a lot in connection with Oled, I wouldn't make it such a tragedy, it's not ideal but not that bad either. Instead of RGB on the back, I would have preferred some basic speakers.

Refresh of older generation with a few minor improvements. Even though it's the same monitor at the core, the QOL improvements are really worth it. For some reason, it's even cheaper on Alza than its sibling a few years older. I guess they might think about whether someone will buy the older model at that price. I describe all the pros and cons in detail below, perfect monitor, proven technology, no roulette with panels, simply unbeatable for the price.
At the price I bought it for (WELL under 10k) it is an absolutely unbeatable monitor.
I don't have the slightest problem with small text. Yes, the sharpness and uniformity of the colours on the text is not as good as on the LCD, but it's certainly not distracting and I don't notice it.
Nice thin bezels, adapter for Vesa mount that doesn't need to be screwed in, just clicked in.
The RGB backlighting of the rear logo can be freely changed via the Armoury Crate app.
All the advantages of OLED apply here too, of course.
Weak grey banding and graininess at 95% grey is of course present, but absolutely minimal and you rarely notice it in normal use. Sometimes I see it in the background of Facebook, for example, which is really stupidly grey.
I switch all my websites to black background using browser add-ons, totally awesome.
The proximity sensor function, which turns off the monitor (not completely off, just to standby mode) when you move away from the PC - but it is also related to one of the minus points.
I don't observe any problems with eye fatigue, image flicker, etc. I'm either lucky with my eyes or my panel.
Glossy WOLED is a total blast. I was a little worried about it because I have a window behind me, not directly but a little to my right. I've been taught to close the blinds before on a frosted LCD, and now is no different. The glare is not distracting at all, I don't notice it.
The logo on the front cannot be changed from red or dimmed, it can only be turned off. But then you don't see the orange flicker on pixel refresh. It doesn't bother you significantly, you just wait until the monitor lights up again, small thing. It's off.
The proximity sensor has a problem sometimes when I play in the dark, sometimes the monitor goes off even when I'm sitting at it and just not moving, during bossfights another rage inducing thing on top of that. When instead of jumping in front of the boss, I'm jumping in front of the monitor in an attempt to wake him up as quickly as possible. It might just be enough to adjust the distance from the monitor, by which it evaluates whether someone is sitting in front of it or not.
The joystick to navigate the menu is so wobbly. I don't like them in general, I would appreciate more classic buttons, you need to exert a decent pressure to press the joystick and not just slide it somewhere to the side, I have to hold the monitor with my thumb from the side of the display and unnecessarily get it so zapatlavám when the torchu misses. On a shiny surface on the bag.
I think that automatically when you turn off the PC the monitor doesn't do a Pixel refresh, it's a shame because of course when the monitor alerts you during the day you never get the chance to do that and you can't imagine having to do anything else for 5 minutes: D The option to turn on automatic Pixel Refresh when the PC is shut down when it hasn't been running for a short period of time would solve this elegantly.
I have another small 14" LCD in portrait mode next to the monitor. IT'S ABSOLUTELY UNWATCHABLE! At night, even a blank black screen burns my eyes. I hate it, I'm going to have to replace this one with OLED as well. Unfortunately, count on it. Never going back. (see. photo)
Sometimes I notice - because I have the anti-burn function turned on, which shifts the image back and forth a few pixels - that around the edges of the fullscreen window about 10-15 pixels are simply turned off, they have a little purple glow and thus a slightly different color than the edges of the monitor, which are pure black, because there are no pixels underneath them (see. photo) - That's a real nitpicking, it's more of a curiosity.

I was really pleasantly surprised by the monitor, the picture is beautifully vivid thanks to the OLED and the black looks absolutely perfect. In games, it's super smooth and everything responds right away, so it feels really good. Overall, it's a really top monitor and gaming on it is completely different.

A newer generation of the same monitor, but with a glossy panel and some premium features. In terms of price/performance ratio it is absolutely fantastic. A very good monitor, where the manufacturer spared nothing. An absolutely divine 240Hz WOLED panel made for HDR gaming or watching movies. There's a separate app for the monitor full of useful settings and OLED care features so you don't have to worry about quick panel dropout or burn-in. In addition, a premium proximity sensor, which can sometimes get angry, but otherwise fulfils its purpose perfectly.
Glossy 3rd generation WOLED panel with luxurious black and 240Hz
Design very hilarious, looks beautiful
Really solid and sturdy stand, which holds on the table like nailed
Complete set of cables included
ASUS OLED care with premium proximity sensor
Clear OSD + powerful asus app available
Divine HDR, absolutely perfect for gaming
The text is legible enough, but after a while it hurts the eyes
When VRR is active, the typical OLED flicker is present when FPS fluctuates a lot

The new generation XG27AQDMG, the panel is still the same, only the surface is newly glossy TrueBlack - so no matte finish and the concept of black is excellent even in a bright room. Otherwise, it's WOLED, so you're still playing the panel lottery. My piece doesn't have significant banding, but the dirty screen effect is still there. I tried to take a picture of it somehow - it's exaggerated in the photo at 100% brightness and the photo is with a longer exposure, in normal use one would have to look for it and it's not distracting at all (this is after 12 cycles of pixel cleaning, supposedly it's supposed to improve over time, so we'll see).
Great for playing
240Hz
It's WOLED and so you're still playing the panel lottery
Dirty screen effect with dark shades
Worse text readability. This panel still has RWGB instead of the newer RGWB subpixel layout like the newer 4th gen WOLED. The text may appear "broken"
It simply doesn't have the rich colours of QD-OLED panels
flickering when VRR is active is incredibly annoying
limited lifespan due to OLED technology, burn-in will definitely show up over time

Unreal infinite black
Nukova suspect massacre gameplay
Decent HDR and true black
Beautiful and quite accurate colours, white is white and 6500k is as it should be thanks to White light in pixels
A piece of honest iron, a heavy, sturdy, honest tank
Decent price against a cockerel that doesn't have it
Woled gen3 better than QD oled (for me)
Not usable for reading text, Cleartype doesn't work in win because it's made for RGB grid, OLED doesn't have RGB
Tried everything, Better Cleartype and changing the smoothing to Grayscale, helps but a little
Change fonts to Verdana, Segoe UI
If you just play games, watch movies and YT, then consuming content divine, but don't want to read articles
QD oled has the same problem, either fringe or leaky font or both
When reading, my eyes hurt and pull, then my head hurts
Technology designed for content consumption only, not text
