Have you heard of a totally amazing computer which is the size of a credit card? It is being developed by the British Raspberry Pi Foundation to support the teaching of computer science at schools. It will also serve perfectly as a multimedia centre in your living room alongside your television.
The camera module does not have an infrared filter so any pictures taken in daylight will look very unusual. You will, however, have night vision when switching on the infrared light. A ribbon cable with a special CSI interface connects the camera module to the Raspberry Pi board. The fascinating miniature camera is 20 × 25 × 10mm, but can still capture video in up to 1080p at 30fps.
