Teplomer musíte do mäsa zapichnúť pred samotným tepelným spracovaním, aby ste priebežne mohli sledovať nárast teploty v ňom a včas ukončili pečenie. Pre rýchlejšiu orientáciu si posuvníkom na obvode môžte nastaviť požadovanú teplotu pre rýchlejšiu orientáciu.

Ja ho tam mám počas celej doby pečenia. Pomáha to udržiavať požadovanú teplotu v rúre. Skutočnosť sa často líši od skutočnej teploty. Napríklad ja som zistil že skutočná teplota v rúre je o 10-15°C nižšia než som nastavil na sporáku.
