Lepší je nechat prázdnou 40mm chráničku bez ostrých ohybů, do které operátor natáhne svůj optický kabel, protože je hodně druhů optických vláken a ty nejdou mezi sebou jednoduše propojit. Tenhle kabel je dobrý na propojení 2 míst někde v továrně, kde je silné rušení.
