Zdá sa, že Sony RMT-VP2 oficiálne nie je uvedený medzi kompatibilnými modelmi pre Sony RX100 VI (RX100M6). Informácie z fór a zo stránky Sony naznačujú, že aj keď je Bluetooth kompatibilita technická možná, kamera nemá vo svojom menu nastavenie pre pairing Bluetooth ovládača ako RMT-VP2.
