Maximální rychlost žádný výrobce neuvádí. Ale vždy jsou schválené na 130km v hodině. Prakticky můžete jet kolik chcete. Je potřeba brát v potaz hlavně zatížení střechy, v případě větší váhy, hlavně změnu jízdní vlastností v zatáčkách. Ale to by jste musel překročit maximální nosnost příčníku, aby jste to při normální jízdě zaznamanel. Na rovině nepoznáte nic, kromě většího hluku a větší spotřebě (podle druhu naloženého nákladu)
