Rychlovarná konvice Severin WK 3472 je určena výhradně pro provoz na stejnosměrné síti 220–240 V/50–60 Hz, typicky doma zapojená do zásuvky.
Konvice má příkon kolem 1100 W. Prakticky každá 12 V zásuvka v autě je jištěna 10–15 A pojistkou, což znamená maximálně 120–180 W. Mnohem účinnější jsou 12 V speciální konvice určené pro auto, nebo alternativně benzinové vařiče.
