Tento kabel má na USB C detekci režimu osazenu na Default Power (což na USB 2.0 znamená 0,5A). Současné telefony to ale většinou ignorují a kabel si otestují a poté použijí na maximální možný proud podle napětí na vstupu. Vzhledem k délce kabelu je tento kabel schopen poskytnout pouze cca 700mA. Kratší kabel stejné konstrukce (0,8m) dá okolo 1A, delší (3m) cca 500mA. Záleží také na použitém zdroji a na minimálním napětí, které je ochoten mobil akceptovat pro nabíjení
