Filtr DF-016 se stejně jako filtr DF-011 vkládá mezi otvor a mřížku kryjící vstup vzduchu na zadní části odvlhčovače vzduchu, akorát je není možné použít oba naráz. Nevejdou se tam a také by byl výrazněji snížen výkon odvlhčovače.
