hlavní rozdíl je ten, že kryt Pitaka MagEZ má v sobě zabudované magnety, tudíž je kompatibilní s technologií MagSafe. Další rozdíl je ten, že kryt MagEZ je vyroben z aramidových vláken 1500D a AirCase z aramidových vláken 600D.
V porovnání s 1500D mají pouzdra z aramidových vláken 600D jemnější keprový vzor a jsou lehčí a tenčí. Přesto jsou pouzdra z aramidových vláken 1500D stále mnohem lehčí a tenčí než pouzdra vyrobená z mnoha jiných materiálů pro pouzdra na telefony. :)
