Jednotka může pracovat v prostředí Mac OS X (Mac OS X 10.6 / 10.7 / 10.8). Číst a zapisovat na Blu-ray, DVD a CD média. Pro přehrávání DVD filmů. Přehrávání Blu-ray vyžaduje dodatečný software (není součástí balení).
