Klasické budíky buzení z USB nemívají ve výbavě. Naproti tomu z USB dokáží budit některé mikrosystémy. například Philips BTM2310 pod kodem: JPI100n

Jaká je přesnost hodin? Je čas řízen krystalem, nebo je odvozen od kmitočtu sítě? Pokud je čas odvozen u tohoto budíku od kmitočtu sítě, je nějaký jiný budík s řízením krystalem?
