Výrobce KRUPS určitě uvádí, že lze použít pouze jejich čistící tablety, jako všichni ostatní. Melita u tablet píše, že jsou vhodné pro plně automatické kávovary na odstranění tuků, olejů a kávových uzazenin. Podle méno názoru se použít dají. Pro porovnání složení s tabletami KRUPS posílám složení Melita:15 - 30% bělících činidel na bázi kyslíku, 5 - 15% fosfonátů.
