Disk je napájen přes rozhraní SATA III (6Gb/s). Standard SATA III obvykle používá napětí 5V pro logické obvody a 12V pro motor disku.
Nicméně, SSD disky jako je tento nemají motor, takže by měly vyžadovat pouze 5V.
