chcel by som vás poprosiť o informáciu či je táto rozširujúca karta kompatibilná s touto MB ASUS P5KPL-AM.Je to staršia doska, ktorá obsahuje 2 sloty PCI. Preto by ma zaujímalo či je možné takto rozšíriť PC o USB 3. Ďakujem.

Myslím si že táto rozšírujúca karta je hlúposť a netreba ju kupovať. Ide o to že PCI zbernica umožňuje prenos maximálne 133 MB/s a USB 3.0 umožňuje 5 Gbitov = 500 MB/s. Prosto PCI zbernica nemá dostatočnú rýchlosť na to aby stačila pre USB 3.0 špecifikáciu. Miesto tejto karty odporúčam inú ktorá je pre PCI express zbernicu 1x LANE, alebo sa uspokojiť len s USB 2.0 portami.
Ide o to že PCI express zbernica 1 LANE - teda 1 linka (krátka) má prenos práve 500 MB/s čo je práve dostatočné pre USB 3.0 ktoré tiež má maximum 5 Gbitov = 500 MB/s.

Chipset této základní desky bohužel nepodporuje USB 3.0 . Je možná pravděpodobnost, že porty fungovat budou, ale omezenou rychlostí. Tuto informaci však nezaručuji.
