Tiskárnu určitě nevybírejte dle počítače, ale dle potřeb vnučky. Jedinou podmínkou možná je, aby podporoval USB připojení k počítači (i když to jde i jinak, např. po síti). Jinak se rozhodněte, dle toho, zda potřebuje 1/ barevný nebo jen černobílý tisk, 2/ kolik toho bude tisknout (počet výtisků za měsíc), neboť při velkých intervalech mezi tiskem mohou některé inkoustové tiskárny "zaschnout" a plýtvat tak drahým tonerem, 3/ bude potřebovat i skenování? Možná se hodí multifunkční tiskárna 4/ cena tisku za 1 stránku (nižší je samozřejmě lepší). Přeji šťastnou ruku při volbě.
