hrazdu lze použít i bez přišroubovaných zarážek, záleží ale na typu zárubní. Pokud jsou pevné a ocelové, tak není problém, pokud jde ale například o dřevěné obložky, tak by je "dostatečné rozepření" hrazdy mohlo poškodit.
