Questions and answers: Epson CO-FH01

The contrast ratio depends on the lighting conditions in the room in which you use the projector or other display device (flat panel). As such, the conditions are dynamic, so there is no way to measure them accurately. In general, the more residual light there is in a room, the lower the contrast on all display devices. CO-FH01 is lowest projector in Epson product line so also parameters are lower. That´s why Epson offering very wide portfolio of projector incl. pure home cinema product with very high contrast ratio. Comparing projectors of different technologies is complicated due to some parameters such as color light output, which is a major advantage of 3LCD technology, which offers many times higher luminosity in colors compared to 1chip DLP technology. At the same time, there is no disturbing flickering of light (rainbow effect). According to the ISO standard, only the light output in white is measured + Epson also measures the light output in colors.
