tzn. že před USB jde jenom proud pro podsvícení? ja chtěl připojovat zvuk přes USB, protože nemám na laptopu jack.

ano, jak je zmíněno v technických parametrech USB-A (konektor pro podsvícení, neslouží pro přenos zvuku), pro přenos zvuku musíte připojit přes 3,5 mm Jack.
