Podle informací od výrobce je 4" Ti-Lite Zy-Ex™ vybaven 220 mm dlouhou čepelí z oceli AUS 8A s šedou, pískovanou, povrchovou úpravou. Japonská AUS 8A je martenzitická nerez ocel, jejíž tvrdost po kalení do oleje a následném žíhání dosahuje 62 až 63 HRC.
